shrts.io – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
Using, sharing, or clicking any shrts.io link (including sub‑domains such as www.shrts.io) means you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. What the Service Does
• Converts a long URL into a shorter alias (a “slug”).
• Shows a 3‑second, skip-able advertisement to human visitors and then issues an HTTP 302 redirect to the destination.
• Slugs self‑expire after 30 days. There is no persistence guarantee beyond that window.

3. No Accounts, No Fees
• We do not ask for or store your name, e‑mail address, payment details, or anything personally identifiable.
• The service is 100 % free and supported solely by advertising.

4. Your Minimal Responsibilities
• Don’t shorten URLs that are illegal, malicious, sexually explicit or pornographic, or that violate someone else’s intellectual‑property rights.
• Automated creation is limited to 20 links per IP per hour to reduce spam.

5. Automatic Removal
A slug may be disabled without notice if the destination appears on a malware/phishing list or if we receive a valid abuse report.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
• Service is provided “as is,” with no warranties of any kind.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law we accept no liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use the service.
• Because you pay nothing and we store no personal data, you agree that any statutory consumer‑protection remedies that might otherwise apply do not apply here.

7. Changes
We can update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the changes.

8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute must be brought in the competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Israel.
